FAQ

  • What are archival prints?
Archival prints are prints made with materials that would prevent the print from fading or yellowing over time. The inks used consist of inherently stable pigments instead of dyes, the papers and canvases are100% acid free as are the mounting materials. The inks and papers we use are rated for longevity and permanance by Wilheim Research to last 90 plus years without any fading or color change when displayed under proper conditions (no direct UV light for extended periods of time). Even the mounting tape we use is archival!
  • Who makes the prints?
The printing, matting and framing for prints up to 24" are made by Chip Forelli in his studio. Larger prints are produced offsite under Chip Forelli's direct supervision and are subject to his approval.
